Scale Floor Plans and Elevation Drawings

Once we have established our client's requirements, we will make sketches of the site and of the relevant floors and elevations of the property. We then take plenty of measurements in millimetres, required to produce the plans accurately to scale on AutoCAD or 3D rendering computer software. We will also take photographs of the property in order to assist with the drafting process, these can also be used as additional information with the planning application if necessary.

Once we have produced existing site sketches we will discuss the proposed design in order to obtain enough information to represent this accurately on the drawings.

We will then create draft copies of the drawings, which will be sent to our client for approval before final copies are sent out. If you would like us to complete your planning application then this will also be done at this point.

We create plans to the correct scale and on the correct paper size required by your particular council. Thise is usually either 1:50 or 1:100 on A1 paper. We will ring the council before we commence the works to ascertain their exact requirements.

We listen to our client's needs, giving guidance where required throughout the entire process.

Unlike many architects we will not pressure you in to a particular design, we listen to your ideas and work with you.
